Beta Alpha Psi is a brand and becoming associated with this brand showcases that you are one of the brightest students on campus.

Community

Baruch College is a commuter school so it can be difficult to get to know other students beyond classes. Beta Alpha Psi brings together like-minded individuals who share that same passion and allows them to build a bond with members through social, professional, and service activities. In essence, Beta Alpha Psi is not only an organization on campus; it’s a family.

Mentorship

Upon joining Beta Alpha Psi, each prospective member is paired with a mentor. This mentor is typically an upperclassman that the prospective member has gotten to know over the first few weeks. Having a mentor is a great benefit as prospective members can learn from each mentor’s experiences and career advice. This mentor program does not end in your college career. Knowing that you have someone looking out for you every step of the way makes you feel proud to be a part of the Beta Alpha Psi family.

Networking Opportunities

Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919. The Alpha Gamma chapter at Baruch College was founded in 1949. This shows that the Beta Alpha Psi network extends a long way. With the lifetime membership, our members constantly have access to expand their network and build on the relationship the organization has kept with alumni. On many occasions, our alumni reach out to us to host events on campus and even recruit from our organization.
